I have let this lay dormant for several years after illness ..... now it is time to light it up again . I know that I have plenty of things I would like to say.... yet when I come to writing them online I don't seem to find them.... so here goes...... my own personal little outlook on the beautiful and vibrant world that we live in !
The quietness of the sun going down is the perfect way to end the days activities
My Natural World
I just love to collect images of the natural world around me. Maybe we'll need them one day, or our children will when there is nothing left.

A beautiful secret .....
In the heart of Buderim lies a beautiful secret.... just one of many on the Sunshine Coast Queensland. Well worth the trek in and the muddy feet , not to mention the slips on the rocks and the fall into the stream. (Sadly we now see signs advertising the fact that it is no longer swimmable due to sewerage pollution)

My favourite walk
Nearby my home I am fortunate enough to have a patch of rainforest/ sclerophyll that is always worth a visit. I can sit with the Eastern yellow Robins, Rufous and Grey Fantails, listening to the elusive Eastern Whipbirds calling and I occasionally manage a glimpse of them as they flit under some greenery. In the canopy overhead are green catbirds, Rainbow Lorikeets, Spangled Drongos, Kookaburras, Golden Whistlers, Rufous Whistlers, and many many more. It is a time to restore and relax for me even in the rain. If I get lucky then I will bring home some pictures, but always... I bring home memories of time well spent in my own company.

Red Capped Plovers at Woodgate Beach Qld
How lucky were we to find this pair and we were so careful not to disturb them as we approached but they seems relatively unfazed by us as our cameras popped and we crawled in the sand to get the best shots
